What You’ll Need:

  • 1 oz. white rum
  • 1 oz. lime juice plus 1 lime slice, for serving
  • 1 oz. raspberry-lime syrup


  1. In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, shake rum, lime juice, and raspberry-lime syrup until cold.
  2. Strain into a coup and serve with a slice of lime.

Cherry Sidecar

Your classy and sophisticated Valentine deserves a classic (with a twist) cocktail that’s best enjoyed alone or with the sweetest Hearts’ Day dessert!

What You’ll Need:

  • 1/4 c. (2 oz.) cognac
  • 2 tbsp. (1 oz.) Cherry Heering
  • 1 tbsp. (1/2 oz.) fresh lemon juice
  • 2 dashes bitters
  • Brandied cherries


  1. In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, shake cognac, Cherry Heering, lemon juice and bitters until cold. Strain into a coupe and serve with brandied cherries.

Ice Cream Float

Think your favorite Summer cocktail is only meant for “sweaty” weather (and not sweater-weather, if you know what I mean)? Yeah, think again! This ice cream float mixed with cherry syrup is a drink-meets-dessert that reps the holiday’s colors! We promise you, your lovely date will approve!

What You’ll Need:

  • 3 tbsp. soda syrup or cherry syrup
  • 2 tbsp. half-and-half
  • Club soda
  • Vanilla ice cream
  • Whipped cream, for serving (optional)


  1. In a tall glass, stir together syrup and half-and-half. Add enough club soda so it comes about 3/4 up the glass. Add 2 scoops of ice cream and top with whipped cream if desired.

Classic Bloody Mary

Kick-off your Valentine’s Day brunch with something classic and spicy! This classic Bloody Mary drink not only fits the holiday theme, but it also keeps the steam going ’til dawn! wink wink

What You’ll Need:

  • 1/2 c. fresh lemon juice, plus lemon wedges for serving
  • 2 tbsp. prepared horseradish, squeezed of excess moisture
  • 2 tsp. Tabasco or other hot sauce
  • 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. celery seeds
  • 8 small pepperoncini peppers plus 1 Tbsp brine
  • Kosher salt and pepper
  • 3 c. tomato juice
  • 3/4 c. vodka
  • 1 seedless cucumber, cut into sticks
  • Celery salt, for rims


  1. In large measuring cup or pitcher, combine lemon juice, horseradish, hot sauce, Worcestershire sauce, celery seeds, pepperoncini brine and 1/4 tsp each salt and pepper. Stir in tomato juice and vodka.
  2. Rub rims of glasses with lemon wedge and dip in celery salt. Serve over ice with cucumber sticks, pepperoncini and lemon wedges.

Shirley Temple Drink

Do you feel like downing something non-alcoholic? Try this delicious Shirley Temple drink and get the kids involved in Valentine’s Day festivities. It’s so easy to make!

What You’ll Need:

  • 3 tbsp. pomegranate syrup
  • lemon or lime seltzer
  • maraschino cherry, for garnish


  1. Fill a Collins glass with ice.
  2. Add pomegranate syrup and top with seltzer.
  3. Serve with a maraschino cherry.

Strawberry Meyer Lemon Spritz

Are you looking for the perfect drink to pair with the Valentine’s Day strawberries and chocolate you’ve been craving? This Strawberry Meyer Lemon Spritz is a drink we’re sure you’ll fall in love with!

What You’ll Need:

  • 8 oz. strawberries, sliced
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 tbsp. grated Meyer lemon zest plus 1/4 cup Meyer lemon juice
  • 1 c. gin
  • 1 bottle sparkling wine
  • Meyer lemon slices, for serving


  1. In a medium saucepan, combine strawberries and 1 cup water and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer, stirring occasionally, until strawberries lose their color and water is a deep reddish pink, about 20 minutes. Skim any foam that rises to the top. Remove from heat.
  2. Using a fine-mesh sieve, strain mixture into a bowl; discard strawberries. Add sugar to mixture, return to pot and bring to a boil, then simmer until sugar has dissolved, about 6 minutes. Remove from heat, stir in Meyer lemon zest and juice and let cool completely, then strain (you should have about 1 1/4 cups syrup).
  3. In a pitcher, combine syrup and gin, then top with sparkling wine. Serve over ice with Meyer lemon slices if desired.

Easy Maple Horchata

This dairy-free, maple, and vanilla-rich, non-alcoholic sipper is EVERYTHING, and you better treat your Valentine’s Day to a glass, a pitcher, or two this Hearts’ Day! Have it as a dessert or make it more interesting with a splash of rum!

What You’ll Need:

  • 1 c. unsweetened rice milk
  • 1 tsp. maple syrup
  • 1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon, plus more for serving
  • Cinnamon stick, for serving


  1. In measuring cup or large glass, whisk together rice milk, maple syrup, vanilla extract and cinnamon.
  2. Pour over ice and sprinkle with more cinnamon. Serve with a cinnamon stick for stirring, if desired.

Pomegranate Cosmo

What You’ll Need:

  • 1 c. vodka
  • 1 c. pomegranate-cranberry juice blend
  • 1/4 c. orange liqueur
  • 3 tbsp. fresh lime juice
  • Lime twists


  1. Put the vodka, pomegranate juice, orange liqueur, and lime juice in a large liquid measuring cup or pitcher.
  2. Add ice and stir 30 seconds or until cold; strain into chilled martini glasses.
  3. Garnish with lime twists.

  1. In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, shake rum, pineapple juice, liqueur, and grenadine.
  2. Strain into a coup and serve with a cherry.
